“My partner and I enjoyed our time sailing with Captain Chris and Patrick on 10/10, and it made sense considering the trip was a 10/10. We went for a date based off our Adventure Challenge for Couples date idea book, and it was everything we had expected and more. The weather was perfect, the sunset was awesome, and both Captain Chris and Patrick were very friendly and accommodating. They provided us wine cups, and helped us get a couple nice pictures as well. Perfect for a date night, along with dinner at the Rusty Scupper right next door, which is what we did. Also great for anyone who wants to just go for a nice relaxing sail by themselves, or with some friends for an hour and a half. Totally recommend.”

“The perfect ending to my 40th birthday celebrations in Baltimore after indulging at Gordon Ramsay's restaurant. I was trying to find something else to do in Baltimore that I hadn't done before since we were coming from Virginia and I found this online when I was planning months ago. We did the Moonlight Sail on the "Summer Wind," and I also love the name of the boat. My first time on a real sailboat. Tom and Tom were very chill and it was such a peaceful, relaxing sailboat ride around the Inner Harbor. We passed a few other bigger more commercialized boat tours and I was like, our boat's better than yours haha. I highly recommend American Sailing Tours! Wonderful night with friends! Oh and I liked the music they played on the boat too, especially the Hawaiian songs.”

The wooden sailboat is a historic wooden schooner that was saved from destruction, refurbished, and given new life as an affordable public sail experience. Captain Tom was our knowledgeable and personable guide for the evening and we enjoyed his chat thoroughly. Go experience a ride on the Unforgettable before it closes for the season at the end of October.”

“Fantastic tour of the harbor with so much fun US history to it! The crew makes you feel extremely comfortable and free to be inquisitive of anything they talk about. Tom made it a conversation instead of a lecture when speaking about the history as this isn’t his first rodeo. Chris’ friendly and inviting personality is just a testament to her premier captainship. Patrick may have a second career in photography so make sure you have him take your pictures!! This was such a relaxing way to start our morning. I would highly recommend this to anyone living in Baltimore or visiting from out of state!”

“We had a wonderful Sunday afternoon with American Sailing Tours! Another sailboat company had to cancel on us last minute, and I was so glad this tour was available. Our group was small and intimate and we had such a relaxing time. They had light refreshments and pointed out interesting sights around the harbor. The captain was wonderfully thoughtful and accommodating with special needs and the skipper was so kind and eager to share his knowledge on sailing and the harbor. “My boyfriend and I went for our two year anniversary. It was wonderful! The staff was so kind. The ride around the bay was really cool, and at sunset it was so great. They will take pictures of you. They knew a lot about the surrounding areas and had tons of fun facts, make sure to ask them questions. If you don’t tolerate the heat well, I would recommend going on a cooler day because the boat doesn’t go very fast and you don’t get a ton of wind from the speed. Otherwise it was awesome, would love to go again on the moonlight sail. Great people, experienced!”

Lovely evening on the water. The captain and her mate Simon were pleasant and informative. We were blessed with perfect temps, a gorgeous sunset, and conversational and friendly fellow passengers. Dock was easy to get to. Vessel and crew had all the necessary accommodations for an enjoyable sail.
